Phantom Power Music is a movement of independent artists choosing economic sovereignty over streaming dependency. Together we are working to protect human-made music from the growing threats of AI and the slow death of streaming economics. We are building free tools that put artists in charge of their own income.
Music is a uniquely human experience. AI can create sound, we don’t think it can create songs. Songs are the soundtrack to the human experience and we think fans will always choose human made music over synthetic songs and fake artists.
We believe in a future where artists are paid first, not last, and independent musicians regain control over their creative and financial future.

THE PROBLEM
The modern music industry has normalized a system where artists generate enormous cultural value while receiving earnings so small, so delayed, and so fragmented that even understanding them requires expertise most working musicians do not have the time or resources to develop. The numbers are not just disappointing. They are a warning.
