THE MISSION

Epoch Music App is a direct-to-artist payment platform for independent musicians. Fans pay artists directly — no distributors, PRO’s, Publishers, algorithmic platforms, no label cuts, no streaming subscriptions. The app is completely FREE for artists and fans to use.

As an Artist Relations Rep, you will introduce independent musicians to Epoch Music App, coach them to build real income from their fans, and earn commission as their earnings grow. There is no hard sell. You are sharing a FREE tool that puts 100% of every fan payment directly in the artist's pocket. Your income grows as your artists' income grows.

This is a founding-era opportunity. Epoch Music App is a startup unlike anything the music industry has ever seen. Artist Relations Reps in Epoch 1 — our founding years through 2032 — build artist portfolios with us, not for us. Reps who develop strong artist relationships will have real career options inside the company as we grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

There are no scripts, no cold-call quotas, and no territory restrictions. This is a relationship-driven role for self-starters. People already embedded in music communities — online, local, or both — will find this immediately rewarding. But anyone with a genuine passion for music can thrive. We will train you on everything, no experience necessary.

  • Find and introduce independent artists to Epoch Music App through online communities, social media, music forums, and your personal network

  • Attend local music events and host music-focused meetups in your community

  • Walk artists through the platform, answer questions, and get them set up — there's no sales pitch, the app is free. The only pitch; “what do you have to lose to just try it?”

  • Help each artist activate their first Epoch Drop (an album or single release), assist them with pricing their music, set up splits, invite collaborators and build their first fan payments.

  • Coach and develop your portfolio of artists month over month — your commission grows as their income grows

  • Track your portfolio and milestones through our exclusive Phantom Power Music CRM portal. No heavy paperwork the app will track your goals!

  • In Years 2–4, the role will shift from active recruitment to artist development. As the company grows you’ll become an internal advocate for your artist portfolio. You’ll help them apply for grant applications, be considered for Epoch-branded tour opportunities, get featured media placements, and create a long-term fan relationship process for 7 million independent musicians. You’ll be a part of helping us build the most unique music company in the world.

HOW YOU EARN

Your income comes from two sources that compound over time:

  • Referral Fee

    Earn a one-time $21 referral fee when any artist you onboard reaches $2,100 in fan payments on the platform. Onboard 20 artists per month hitting that milestone and you are quickly earning $420/month in referral fees. Any artist with a back catalog, a small existing audience, or regular new releases can hit $2,100 quickly. If you focus only on onboarding in the first few months you can ramp up on referral fees alone.

  • Monthly Commission — Compounding Over 4 Years

    Once an artist hits the $2,100 milestone, you earn 5% of Epoch's platform fee income from that artist every month for the rest of Year 1. As you build out subsequent cohorts of artists, earlier cohorts continue generating passive income at step-down rates:

  • Year 1: 5% of Epoch net receipts per artist

  • Year 2: 2.1% — passive income, no new onboarding lift required

  • Year 3: 1.0% — three cohorts compounding simultaneously

  • Year 4: 0.5% — final commission year

 Conservative projections *based on 20 new artists per month:

  • Year 1: $22,640

  • Year 2: $47,839

  • Year 4: $65,839

** Projections Note: These projections are proived as a modest conservative example only. As a brand new start up your opportunity to doube and even triple those estimates is not unrealistic. The market is wide open. Double your monthly onboarding to 40 artists and every number doubles, to 60 and it triples. There are 7 million independent artists in the world who are not getting paid what they deserve. The reps who treat this like a career opportunity — who show up every day, build genuine relationships, and coach their artists to grow — will blow past these goals.

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • You love music. Period. No experience requried.

  • You believe independent artists deserve a better deal than what streaming platforms offer.

  • You personally wish there was a platform to discover new music not be pushed algorithmic content.

  • You spend time in online music communities, at local live music events, or in creative spaces.

  • You are comfortable with relationship-based outreach — no hard pitches, no scripts.

  • You want to build an income stream that compounds over time, not just a paycheck.

  • You are looking for flexibility. Work from home or remote. We don’t measure hours we measure results.

  • You are motivated by mission — we are building the infrastructure to change how artists get paid, permanently

No resume required. No formal music industry experience required. Passion and a genuine belief that artists deserve better is the only prerequisite. We will teach you everything else.
